Sometimes we look outside ourselves for the answers we seek for our life. We ask our friends what they think, our partners, psychics, healers, everyone but the one person who actually knows the answer to our question.
You! You have all the knowledge and wisdom within you.
Do you know how to tap into all of that? It is not that hard to do when you decide to stop going outside of you and turn your attention and intention inward.
Try this daily practice. Ask your body, “Body, body, body, what do you need today to be the healthiest and happiest body you can be?” Then listen. You will hear, see, get a sense, know the exact thing your body needs in that moment. The voice may whisper, “water, rest, fun”, or you will get a feeling of something you could do. You may see it in your mind’s eye.
Honor what you receive and thank your body for telling you. The more you play with this exercise, the louder the voice will be and the more confident you will feel with this new skill. You are building a connection with your amazing body.
When we make the time to listen to what our body needs everyday, our body doesn’t have to become sick or dis-eased to get our attention. Once your body has physical symptoms of disharmony, I promise you that your body has been trying desperately to get your attention for years.
