12/28/2015 0 Comments The Holidays are just about over?I have been off for a week spending time with the family celebrating Christmas. It has been relaxing, overindulgent in so many ways, and now I am getting ready for the year to come. Do you feel like this? For me, after Christmas Day and Boxing Day, I am just done. I am ready to take down everything and clean my space. Now part of this is because we choose to get our Christmas tree so freaking early. I think the tree is even ready to be put out of its' misery.
Don't get me wrong, I love the holiday season. My family keeps it pretty simple with limited plans. We choose to NOT have crazy, chaotic holidays. But there is just something about the week between Christmas and New Year's that gets me going, gets my mind racing and my body kind of fidgety. It feels like it is out with the old and in with the new. Perhaps the full moon on Christmas Day is partly to blame for this energy I am feeling now, but I truly experience this each year. Maybe it is the natural progression of the holidays winding down, yet the gearing up for the new year and all the possibilities that holds (no pressure). Facebook is covered already with folks selling their new programs for 2016. It is like too much for me right now. I am feeling introverted, nappy, dreamy, visioning, self reflecting at this moment. This is a good thing I think. It is important to take some time and reflect about where you have been and where you wish to go. So how has your year been? What do you want to create in the coming year? I am creating a business that I love, full of creative, intuitive and healing energies. A business that supports folks in their journey of finding who they truly are and reclaiming their awesome selves. That is my goal in the coming year, to really shine my light in the world and reach more women who are ready to step into their power. Whatever your plans are for this last week of this year, I encourage you to spend a little bit of time reflecting and dreaming (and napping, I love to nap). Getting clear about where you've been, what you have accomplished and what you want to achieve in the coming year is a really good thing to do for your mind, body and spirit. I'd love to hear what you plan on accomplishing next year. If it feels a little bit scary, you are onto something. New action=new results. Until next time...
