Hey everyone. I thought I would ramble on for a bit about the holidays which are fast approaching. I think the older I get, the faster these holidays seem to approach. It was just summertime! Any way, Thanksgiving is next week, and I am just shocked by this fact. I love Thanksgiving. It is such a nice holiday to celebrate. I love cooking and being with my family. Oh and I love love love eating all that yummy food. I also like the general laziness of this holiday. There are no gifts to worry about. It's all about gratitude and eating. What's not to love? Of course I choose to be grateful every day of the year, but that is just me.
This time of year also offers us a great opportunity for reflection. I love to think back on the year and see how far I have come, and where I want to go next (physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritualy). I look at the goals I have accomplished and reassess where I want to focus my attention next. I feel strongly that having goals, dreams, intentions are important. If you are ambling along with no real goal in mind, you won't really manifest very much. Along with having goals I think it is necessary and beneficial to be flexible in those goals. If something isn't working, tweak it. Take a step back. It is important to listen to your wise self at all times. It will never lead you astray. So often we do things out of obligation or guilt. This is YOUR life. If you are living within your purpose and truth, not only will you be happier, but everyone around you will benefit as well. So when you are feasting this holiday season, take a moment to reflect on how far you have come and how far you wish to go. Then just listen to your wise self. Follow the advice of that person. Your truth, is your truth. No one can argue with your Divinity. Until next time....
