Today's thoughts are about on line empire building. Perhaps that is an exaggeration, but some of us are on Facebook to build our businesses. I am!About one year I began working with clients solely on line. It is very different than working in person, and I love it. You see it is all about intention, and my sessions are just as powerful (if not more so) at a distance than in person (and I don't have to do my hair).
But my thoughts today are more around what I am seeing in FAcebookland, and that is a whole lot of noise right now. Some groups I am in are just so busy with offers from other awesome people. You know what I mean? It is like everyone is in this mode of "Oh my God, it is December and I have to sell sell sell before the end of the year" craziness. I get it, but man can that energy (especially if you are empathic like me) really throw you off your center.
As a healer building my biz, I see all these other amazing healers doing amazing things, and for just one moment it is all to easy for me to catch the dreaded disease called, "Comparisonitis". Have you heard of this? It is that feeling of not being good enough, a powerful enough healer, savvy enough at sales funnels, and the list goes on and on and on...........what to do, what to do.
First off I have seen way too many awesome biz owners just give up. Not me. I have seen people just hit it hard in every group, then just disappear. I don't want that. Here is what I DO when that nasty case of "Comparisonitis" takes hold; I get off Facebook. Seriously, I just stop scrolling endlessly. Unless I am wanting to work with someone, I just let all that goooooooooooo.
Guess what happens when I do this? Come on, guess. I feel better. Crazy, right? It is true. I feel centered again. I feel good in my abilities to help people, and all is well with the world.
So, if you find yourself suffering with this debilitating and disempowering affliction, get off of social media for a bit. It is the easiest and best thing for your soul. Then come back to my super awesome Facebook group, and I will give you a virtual hug and welcome you back with open arms!!
