I think a lot about healing and health and spirituality and all things woo. I really do. I don't even pretend to have all the answers to any of it either. I learn and grow as I walk on this Earth, and I try to share my nuggets of wisdom along the way. This morning, just now in fact, I was thinking about healing and how we can look at our beliefs, emotions, thoughts, and all of that stuff and we can dig into our past and do past life healings all day long and still have more to look at and uncover. I actually find this to be kind of exhausting, all that digging in. Now I realize that most folks have no idea what I am talking about here. Most people are so focused their mind chatter and worry of the future, that they aren't even taking time to breathe much less recognize the vastness that is the body-mind-spirit connection. But I am not talking to them. I am talking to you, and you know all about how your thoughts create your experience. If you are reading this, if you have found me, you know. On some level you feel the pull to learn more. I have come to the conclusion that we are always creating and manifesting based on what we think, feel and do. There is no time in our life that we just stop growing and learning and healing as well. That thought alone can feel a little overwhelming at times. But I also think that there is a fine line between all the digging and searching for things to clear and heal and release AND just being in the moment and being happy, enjoying your life. Some folks just love to do healing on themselves all day long. I find this to be one way of escaping the joy of living and just being here. Again this is a fine line. I do think any time we are triggered by something outside of ourselves, there is always something there for us to look at. It doesn't have to take hours though. I am at the point where if I get triggered (and I do), I can just literally stop what I am doing and ask myself right then and there, "What is up with this?" and I can usually release it pretty darn quick. I don't spend all day doing healing, digging, releasing. I think it can be as easy as saying "Delete" when stuff comes up and then we can get on with our day, in this world that we have chosen to experience. I just think that if you are looking for something to heal, you will find it. It can occupy you all day long if you choose. At what point do you decide that right now you are good enough and go have an ice cream cone and celebrate how awesome you are? Like I said at the beginning, I do not know all the answers, and I am okay with that. I will probably have a different opinion on the matter tomorrow. These are just today's thoughts.
